Hi davmor2, Per our discussions in #ubuntu-testing in IRC, I'm unduping this bug. For anyone else following along, it really seems like this bug is two separate issues, the v86d issue and the a separate issue of needing to keypress to continue booting. Both of these issues have been reported as bug 273833 and bug 254668 . It's probably best to just subscribe to each of those reports. This got partially fix for me when I finally found a work around for ndiswrapper. The only time it stops now is if I reboot the system.
