[Bug 27615] Re: [dapper] The computer doesn't switch off automatically
Hardy Heron Alpha2 was recently released. It contains an updated version of the kernel. You can download and try the new Hardy Heron Alpha2 release from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/hardy/alpha-2/ . You should be able to then test the new kernel via the LiveCD. If you can, please verify if this bug still exists or not and report back your results. General information regarding the release can also be found here: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/hardy/alpha2 . I'm actually running xubuntu feisty on the 600X and the automatic power off still doesn't work. I tried both with and without "acpi=off" and I found no way to make it work. -- [dapper] The computer doesn't switch off automatically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/27615 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 27615] Re: [dapper] The computer doesn't switch off automatically
You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you while using a more recent distribution? For 600X it should afaik work at Feisty already, but the 600X got still acpi updates to even the kernel that is going to Gutsy. Thanks in advance. -- [dapper] The computer doesn't switch off automatically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/27615 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
