Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kate
lsb_release -rd: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) apt-cache policy kate: 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1 0 In KDE3, if you were looking at /my/path/to/a/file.txt and created a new file, the save as dialog would be default use /my/path/to/a as current directory, which was most handy. Now this procedure does not work the first time (but works as usual afterwards). Procedure to reproduce it: - File -> Open: /my/path/to/a/file.txt - File -> New - File -> Save as: we are in $HOME/Documents, not /my/path/to/a !?! ** Affects: kdesdk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- kate does not use the previous file directory in the save as dialog https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/277263 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdesdk in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
