Public bug reported: when booting the live cd and selecting an option, the "loading linux kernel" message is no longer shown.
seeing as its still like that in the beta release, i think it was probably intentional however, is this a really good idea? the message is immediate feedback that your keystroke registered. many people would interpret the message not being displayed as lag or something. or maybe that they didnt press the key on the keyboard all the way. anyway, the message and loading bar gives you immediate confirmation that its doing something, so reconsider whether you really need to remove the message anyway. (why _did_ you remove it in the first place?) if this is a bug, then never mind. i guess its just another thing to fix ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- "loading linux kernel" message is gone in intrepid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278296 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
