Miranda IM and amsn work just fine, no errors, no outstanding request. Note: i was wrong about the error number, it was 204, not 205. Daniel, I was using a couple of different OSs and chat clients and not sure if someone tried to add them to my contacts list and they weren't matching up... As its stands now tho.. I got the same error. I try (totally) uninstalling pidgin and reinstalling it from synaptic, but the bug doesn´t dissapear. Pedro, No I am not having this issue anymore. It could have been related to a variety of IM clients in use on different PCs/Phones/Laptops etc that had added a friend when I didnt have that on the pidgin release.
