I downloaded the daily live cd from the 15th and after installation using the WUBI installer as before, the system correctly booted to complete the installation in Ubuntu. Once that completed, the system self-rebooted but then GRUB failed to boot. It said File Not Found, which I assume means that the kernel image could not be found to boot.
