No effect on anything but ubuntu studio, so I'm reluctant to give an ACK or REJ here. I got the fix. There were some subtle differences between Ubuntu's applications.menu file and Ubuntu Studio's. I changed it so those differences don't exist anymore (except the audio & video section). The screensaver listing problem disappears after doing that.
