Tried to get an update today using the Update Mgr. and I got the
following error msg:
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily
unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another
process using it?
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 Ibex Beta. Have all the updates that were
available as of yesterday, 10/24/08 installed.
