[Bug 289770] Re: adept does not show all packages
It seems there are 2 different utilities here; Adept Installer and Adept Manager. They have the same name in the title bar, so it is not obvious which one you have running. The Adept Installer only lists a restricted range of packages, but it is Adept Installer that is in the Kmenu (twice, under Computer and under Applications). The Adept Manager handles more packages, but is more difficult to find in Kmenu. That is because kscreensaver is not an application, but rather a package that contains screensavers for KDE.
