[Bug 290394] Re: Vinagre can not connect to ipv6 address without resolve
Some more info, vinagre can connect to ipv6 addresses entered in the gui, but not on the command line. I guess I could hack the command line parser to be able to use ipv6 there too. One way is ip:v6::adress/port to differentiate from ip.v.4.address:port -- Vinagre can not connect to ipv6 address without resolve https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 290394] Re: Vinagre can not connect to ipv6 address without resolve
of course, ping6, traceroute6, ssh, just about anything work... I guess vinagre is just not aware of ipv6 on commandline, internal it's ok. It thinks the first colon marks end of ipv4 address and then comes the port... -- Vinagre can not connect to ipv6 address without resolve https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
