[Bug 291842] Re: warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook
I spoke too soon. I saw this again on a Dell Optiplex 745 running Intrepid with kernel 2.6.27.11 after resuming from suspend. Sound failed as well. Log attached. ** Attachment added: "Log of warn_on_slowpath during suspend" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/22492535/warn_on_slowpath.txt -- warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 291842] Re: warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook
I still have not seen any warn_on_slowpath dumps. I think this may be solved. -- warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 291842] Re: warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook
I have now installed 2.6.27.11 and done a couple of suspend/resumes. Initially the log looks OK, but as the stack traces don't appear every time I will monitor the log under this kernel version. -- warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 291842] Re: warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook
Whoops. Searching through my logs I found an instance of the warn_on_slowpath under the 2.6.27-9.19-generic kernel. (I also found some interesting "ext3_discard_reservation" entries, for another bug report...) I will try with the 2.6.27.11 kernel. -- warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 291842] Re: warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook
I'm using a Macbook2,1. I have not tested with 2.6.27.11 yet, but the stack trace is not present in messages under kernel 2.6.27-9.19-generic. -- warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

What version of Macbook are you using? 3,1 4,1 5,1? Is is pro or standard Macbook? Have you tested the 2.27.11 kernel in ubuntu-proposed? -- warn_on_slowpath on resume on macbook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
