HI, This bug affects also the todo list in kontact. The workaround described above does not work for me. This bus already is solved in KDE 4.1.4 and 4.2.0. I meant to update this ages ago. I set my master KDE date layout too -MM-DD to fix it, but I reckon in the backend it should perhaps *understand* date layout, in my mind sorting by date rarely involves anything other than Newest To Oldest, or at least by default it should do this. If someone wants to find every date starting on the 1st of the Month then they should configure it but for 1st time user might be a little odd of a setting. Well problem fixed for me but maybe it's something to consider anyway.
