Public bug reported: I'm having this problem with Nautilus 2.24.1 in Ubuntu 8.10.
Here is how to reproduce the problem: Open your home folder in Nautilus and press ctrl-f. The search text box appears. Enter some text and press enter. Now you have the possibility to change the location. If you look in the list, you won’t find any of your bookmarked network locations. Go ahead and select "other". Your network place doesn't show in the bookmark section. I should mention that it is possible to search a network location by navigating to that location and then pressing ctrl-f. If you press the "reload" button, though, the search will now take place in you home folder. I should also add that I was able to select a network location as a search criteria in Hardy .
