Does pdftotext manage to produce any output from the file? I seem to have this problem, too. Searching for a term I know is in quite a few of my PDFs it only found references in related HTML files. The PDFs titles were indexed. just not their texts. Hi Martin, Thank you for reporting this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better! I've installed Beagle on Intrepid, and I couldn't reproduce your issue! I've tried to search a word contained in a pdf file and it worked great for me! Could you please try with a fresh installation of Intrepid?
