Ubuntu cannot support this printer because the printer manufacturer does not provide a Linux driver for your specific printer model, therefore we are closing this bug as won't fix while actually it is something Ubuntu can't fix. Please ask your printer manufacturer for a Linux driver! sane-backends-1.0.19 Lexmark-1.0 backend claims to be supporting scanning with X1150.
