[Bug 296934] Re: gpsca don't work properly in my webcam creative nx ultra, its on, but doesn't work

2009-04-20 Thread nev
I don't know if this is the same issue, but...
My webcam worked in 8.04. Now I've upgraded to 9.04 and it doesn't work. lsusb
shows 041e:4034 Creative Technology, Ltd WebCam Instan, and /dev/video0 exists
when the camera is plugged in. Skype says no devices found. Camorama shows a
black image with some interference like lines across it and says unable to
capture image. Adobe Flash Player 10 shows an image that looks like a corrupted
image file. So it's trying to work, it knows the camera is there, but something
is not quite right.

[Bug 296934] Re: gpsca don't work properly in my webcam creative nx ultra, its on, but doesn't work

2008-12-16 Thread Andres Mujica
Hi, thanks for your report, is it possible for you to test if this bug
still exists with fully updated Intrepid? If it is still an issue can
you send as separate attachments the output for the following files?

uname -a > uname-a.log
cat /proc/version_signature > proc_version_signature.log
sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log (those are 2 v's not a w)
 dmesg > dmesg.log
lsusb > lsusb.log
lshal > lshal.log
Thanks in advance
