[Bug 297151] Re: Visiting web page crashes X server and locks up machine
The webpage in the description is no longer available. I have visited http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1470 on Karmic and the page rendered just fine. [Bug 297151] Re: Visiting web page crashes X server and locks up machine
That page reports “You have version 10,0,12,36 installed.” No other pages pose any problems since upgrading to Intrepid. Google video, for example, works just fine. -- Visiting web page crashes X server and locks up machine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297151 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 297151] Re: Visiting web page crashes X server and locks up machine
Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. >From what I could tell, the only element on that page that may have caused a crash is a flash side banner. Please go to the following site and verify your flash version: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ Also, please let us know if flash in any other sites causes the problem (youtube, flash games, etc). ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete -- Visiting web page crashes X server and locks up machine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297151 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
