[Bug 297151] Re: Visiting web page crashes X server and locks up machine

2009-10-13 Thread Dimitrios Symeonidis
The webpage in the description is no longer available. I have visited
http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1470 on
Karmic and the page rendered just fine.

Closing as invalid

That page reports “You have version 10,0,12,36 installed.” No other
pages pose any problems since upgrading to Intrepid. Google video, for
example, works just fine.

[Bug 297151] Re: Visiting web page crashes X server and locks up machine

2008-11-12 Thread Anthony Noto
Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
>From what I could tell, the only element on that page that may have
caused a crash is a flash side banner. Please go to the following site
and verify your flash version:
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ Also, please let us know
if flash in any other sites causes the problem (youtube, flash games,
etc).
