Public bug reported: note: correct if package is wrong, it could be "casper"
this bug report is short and simple: i have the intrepid final livecd (i386), verified with no errors. what happens is that after i have used the live cd for a while and decide to poweroff, when the message saying to remove the cd appears, the cd does not automatically eject. thats a regression, it always ejected automatically before. my box is the hp pavilion elite m9060n, and i did not add/remove any hardware from it, so if you want to know anything about any component of my hardware, just look up the hardware specs cause i dont have a clue (im kinda lazy). these hp computers are a little troublesome. ubuntu really does have amazing hardware compatibility though. (the BEST ive seen!) also, like i said, this worked in 8.04, 8.10, and im not sure about the previous releases, cause this computer is kinda new. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: casper intrepid linux regression ** Tags added: casper intrepid linux regression -- cd does not eject automatically after shutdown in the intrepid live cd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297947 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
