A reproducable hang for me (with adblock plus installed) is to visit pingtest.net This happens even if adblock is turned off (via it's menu - the add-on still enabled). No whitelisting the page does not avoid the problem. only way I could find to avoid it is to disable or remove adblock plus. Also I am now using the latest karmic and I still have this problem. I also have this problem. I just upgraded from hardy up to jaunty (network upgrade to intrepid then jaunty). Hardy never had this problem, but now I have it on jaunty. The problem exists with both versions of adblock plus (repos and 1.1 from firefox's website). yes, I have the same error with the package from the repos.
