This bug does go away if I disable desktop effects - which obviously is
not a solution.

2009-02-17 Thread Bryce Harrington

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the
original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to
reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against
the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we
may be able to pass upstream for help.

2009-01-14 Thread Bryce Harrington
[Still waiting on feedback]

Note Jaunty alpha-3 will be coming out tomorrow, and it would help in
upstreaming this issue if you could confirm that the issue still exists
on it. ISOs are available at

Thanks. If you turn on Option AccelMethod EXA does it prevent the

[Bug 306444] Re: Xorg freeze in exaCopyDirty on radeon X700Pro

2008-12-11 Thread AZ
I've just experienced another hang. Like last time, Xorg consumed 100% cpu ,
mouse cursor was still movable and amarok continued playing creakly.
Like last time, the hang occured in exaCopyDirty but this time another method
named RADEON was involved.
I still have Intrepid installed ;)
