Hi Andreas thnx, I now run maverick and guess what... In my normal desktop version there is no problem everything ok, but on my netbook about 2 months ago, after an update privoxy needs restart on every boot again. Thanks for the reply. When you have the chance, could you look on your netbook in /var/log for privoxy related messages and attach those to this report? The file /var/log/privoxy/logfile is empty, and if I grep privoxy on /var/log/messages/ it gives me nothing Is there any other place I could look? Hmm, there should be a mention in /var/log/syslog.
