No it was resolved with a fresh install of 9.04 and also works in a fresh install of 9.10. Additional Info... I had an xubuntu 8.04 LIVE CD and booted up with that. Sure enough the mic for the SB LIVE card works in that environment (I remember that it worked in my 8.04 ubuntu install before i did a fresh install of 8.10). Run the command lspci -v | grep --after-context=10 Audio ~/SoundLSPCI.txt in the terminal. 2.) Run the command uname -a ~/uname.txt in the terminal. 3.)
