I'm also with the same problem, what I did in intrepid was: 1. Edit the connections. 2. Delete the auto-configured wireless network 3. Create a new one manually, this time with the "System setting" box checked. In this way, the system remembers the configuration and connects automatically. I hit this problem also with intrepid.
