Please when filing bugs file separate bugs for each issue. I'm not really sure how your XP system relates to Firefox on Ubuntu. These sound a lot like extensions issues or profile issues. Please try to use new profile also disable addons and extensions. I'm gonna invalidate this particular bug based on the information you have in your Ubuntu Forums post, it definitely looks like you're having a lot bigger issues than codebase from Firefox. Hi, thanks for reporting this. Registration is required so that people working on your bug can contact you for further information. I know this will be a bit frustrating, but please bear with me since I'm just a normal user and not a "linux demi-god". Hopefully somebody much more knowledgeable than me can help fix the problems that I can't. #1 I wasn't able to reproduce this one - I'm also running Ubuntu Intrepid and tried going there, it works fine for me. Have you installed any plugins? I've heard of people having Firefox crash when some plugins are installed. #2 Can you make sure Firefox isn't set to delete private info on closeout? (Edit>Preferences>Privacy>"Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" should be unchecked) Also, can you double-check to make sure it's set to actually remember passwords (Under the Security tab in preferences), and that you don't have any sites in the exceptions list? #3 I don't have any idea how to fix this one, but if your browsing profile is constantly being erased, that'd definitely cause your issues in #2. Here's the part where someone much wiser than me steps in.
