Thanks I'll go ahead and close this bug. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed => Invalid -- package linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic.list] failed to install/upgrade: subprocess dpkg-deb --fsys-tarfile returned error exit status 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/323060 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I believe that I solved my own issue. I ran a couple commands. The first was: sudo apt-get update The second was: sudo apt-get install -f The packages installed and the update then applied. A successful and thankfully uneventful reboot later and TA DA! Everything is working great now. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Committed -- package linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic.list] failed to install/upgrade: subprocess dpkg-deb --fsys-tarfile returned error exit status 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/323060 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
