The icon is 'search', which I find here: scalable/actions/search.svg Obviously if the icon theme has no scalable version, this path wont be found. Thats because youre effectively using 2 different themes: one with compositing and one without. I'm put this bug up with the "human-theme" package (I'm not sure I did it right, so if I've mucked it up, someone please correct). Changing the icon set you're using from "Human" to something like "Tango" clears up the icon and it looks fine.
