Every once and then, tracker-applet says, the index is corrupted and has to be re-indexed again. There is no other option as to let it re-index the system, otherwise, the message appears every few seconds. Binary package hint: tracker I can confirm this bug. In my case clicking on Close after enabling the indexing resulted in the crash.
