when I open a large PDF document I cannot scroll with the mouse and the
application crash. The same document can be open ok with Acrobat 10 under win...

Confirmed on Intrepid. Evince crashes when browsing to page 7, with "Floating 
point exception"
No crash with xpdf or acroread, although with xpdf I see:
"XtUngrabButton(drawArea,3,0)
Warning: Attempt to remove nonexistent passive grab"
