I'm using Compiz 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu4.1. If the only way to enable the composite is in xorg.conf, then it's disabled. My video card is this (from lspci): 05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G71 [GeForce 7950 GT] (rev a1) I have two SyncMaster 206bw and I'm using Nvidia driver with TwinView. I'm sending attached my xorg.conf. I'm not sure about what version of Nvidia driver I'm using.
