I am currently testing krdc krdc 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1 which also does not include the show local cursor button by default. I have found out how to make it show up: 1) I had to right click on the tool bar and select Configure toolbar and set the following setting: 2) I had to select Remote View Toolbar 3) I had to add show local cursor to the viewable items. The instructions above add the Show local cursor to the Remote View Toolbar in krdc 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1 on ubuntu 9.04. What changes were performed to this package by ubuntu developers? KDE developers believe that we modified the source to remove the show local cursor button.
