Works, thanks Luke. Next comment I sending the correct output settings with amixer. Possible applying this settings by default? What we choosing default input source? Now I using mic and recording external microphone. Or use default with Front Mic input source? What the default with another laptop sound cards? I found another bug, I don't know how can possible fix: When my laptop powered down and plugged headphone, and after this I power up my computer, all sounds playing with headphone and laptop speaker. When plugged out headphone and plugged in again, all works fine. Hardy does'nt producing this problem. Have you tried turning up the mic/line boost options? Have you also made sure that the microphone or line in device you are attempting to record from are enabled for capture? You can do this by running alsamixer, pressing F4 to switch to capture settings, finding teh line/mic device you want to enable, and pressing space bar to enable capturing audio. It appears that the jaunty kernel should support your hadware properly, which is why I am asking the above question.
