As for your display picture problem, please first try a newer version of Pidgin such as the one in Jaunty, or in Hardy Backports. Thanks for your report. Musictracker 0.4.1 in Hardy and Intrepid are quite old. I expect the problem won't occur with pidgin-musictracker in Jaunty or Karmic. Are you able to test with one of these releases?
