The steps to reproduce the crash are: 1.Add a horizontal line from Add-menu in a conversation window 2.Send the message(Don't include anything else than the line in the message) 3.Pidgin crashes instantly - This crashed my pidgin 100% of the times i tested this. Im using Ubuntu - 8.10 and i've got the latest updates and backports is enabled. Pidgin - packet is 1:2.5.2-0ubuntu1. + This crashed my pidgin 100% of the times i tested this. Bug was reproduced as described. 1. Open conversation windows. 2. Select insert from the conversation windows. 3. Select horizontal rule from options. 4. Press enter to send message. 5. I can't reproduce this issue in Pidgin 2.5.4. Maybe it's fixed yet in this version.
