Indeed, looks like both
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/x2goclient
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/x2goserver
have been in Ubuntu for a while now.

[Bug 330984] Re: [needs-packaging] x2go needs-packaging

2011-01-18 Thread Fabián Rodríguez
I've tested the 32-bit and 64-bit packages on Ubuntu 10.10 and both seem
to work well. I've removed the "only for 9.04" mention in the bug
description and added the link for installation instructions from the
repository mentioned.

** Description changed:

  [needs-packaging] x2goserver&x2goclient

- description: x2go is an internet enabled terminalserver with pulseaudio
+ Description: x2go is an internet enabled terminal server with pulseaudio
  and sshfs support.

  URL: www.x2go.org
  License: GPL2 and GPL3
- Notes: X2goserver and the clients fpr GTK, QT and commandline are all
licenced under GPL - there are no commercial licences involved. This is an
special port for ubuntu with an "ready2use" installscript (postinstall), so
that the x2goserver package is ready after installation. Because we need some
of the nxlibs, we integrated as a special wish of the ubuntu community the
original nomachine nxlibs (wether our patched versions in our debian
repository). Please keep in mind, that this version only works on ubuntu 9.04.

2009-10-12 Thread Raybuntu
Where can I find the sources. I would try to build it for REVU but I
only find a bunch of tar.gz's in the projects APT Repo. Is there no
tar.gz with the whole src? This would be easier to maintain if there
were only one tar.gz which would build the multiple binary deb packages!
Do you have a SVN, GIT or etc.?

best regards
Ray

Can you check out https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages
for the process? It would be nice to have them on REVU.

[Bug 330984] Re: [needs-packaging] x2go needs-packaging

2009-02-18 Thread Nathan Handler
I am unsubscribing ubuntu-universe-sponsors from this bug report. New
packages should be uploaded to REVU so that two MOTUs can review and
advocate the package prior to it being uploaded. However, please keep in
mind that since we are almost at Feature Freeze, it is very unlikely
that this package will make it into Jaunty.
