[Bug 331716] Re: previously booted into GUI login screen, now boots to terminal login. type startx toboot into a GUI.
As hinted to by the error message, the output of the commands: xprop -root | grep XKB gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd Might help with deciding further where the problem is. Attaching them to this bug report could be useful. Keyboard may be unconfigured. You try reconfigure your keyboard setup by: run setxkbmap -rules xorg -layout us (in this case us for United States keyboard layout, but use instead the country code which is appropriate) ** Changed in: gdm (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None = gdm -- previously booted into GUI login screen, now boots to terminal login. type startx toboot into a GUI. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331716 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
