[Bug 332895] Re: BBC iplayer no longer working

2009-11-01 Thread thunderbear
I am also using 9.10 , using 64bit fresh install using official adobe
flash 10,0,32,18 installed and using the reccomended nvidia 185.18.36
drivers. I am in the UK. flash works fine with other sites too,
however...

BBC Iplayer only works when /system/preferences/appearence/visual
effects are set to none, in this case, Iplayer works fine both in a
normal window, and a maximised screen however part of my screen is
blacked out, as in the bottom 1/3 of firefox is missing, however the
bottom panel still exists,

however when the visual effects are set to normal iplayer fails to run,
but my screen and firefox are OK

[Bug 332895] Re: BBC iplayer no longer working

2009-10-29 Thread Jim
I've just upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10. With 9.04, I was able to access
BBC iPlayer in Firefox but can't get it to work with 9.10. I am in the
UK and using Adobe Flash Player. Have tried uninstalling Flash Player
but no joy. Flash player works fine with on other sites. Any
suggestions?
