My Acer ONE will not read media cards either. If I reboot to the earlier edition they will work. Just noticed this bug while downloading the Jaunty netbook remix. I'd like to point out that I had this same problem on my AspireOne under Fedora 10. Jaunty beta. All updates to 2000h GMT. Left-hand card reader shows media in duplicate (right-hand menu) with no unmount icon. Of these, only one instance 'works' i.e. opens nautilus. Right-hand card reader still not hot-pluggable, most be booted with card in situ. BUT only single menu item on menu and unmount icon is present.
