I'll look into it.. thanks for taking the time to look at this anyway. I understand why this information is useful to you, and probably to many other people, but I remain unconvinced that it is sufficiently useful to merit inclusion in Do. Perhaps you could write a patch, are provide further reasons for this feature? -- Docky trash does not reflect number of items in trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337875 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- Docky trash does not reflect number of items in trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 337875] Re: Docky trash does not reflect number of items in trash
Good question! It's a hard one to justify, I guess it's something I like to know. Perhaps a better tooltip would be "15MB currently in trash" .. that way you know whether you're letting the trash grow too large? -- Docky trash does not reflect number of items in trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 337875] Re: Docky trash does not reflect number of items in trash
Can you provide an argument for why this is a useful feature? I personally cannot think of a single reason why a user would need this bit of information. Empty/Full is the only trash info I can think of that it is remotely useful. By nature of being "trash", what's in it should be irrelevant. -- Docky trash does not reflect number of items in trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
