plasma-appletsrc if a crashing configuration. I will later explore which change to the plasma settings is causing the crash... but need to figure out first how I can restart Plasma without rebooting the whole desktop, while making sure the settings are saved nevertheless... Killing the plasma app looses the setting changes it seems... (which is logical if the settings are only saved upon plasma closing...) I have been repeatedly changing settings one by one to the one that crashes, with restarting plasma after each single step... no crash so far...
