Thanks for your bug report. Unfortunately, because this bug is not
reported against any package, it didn't get any attention during a long
time.

However after reading the description, I think that the results you get
is normal, since you regenerate the ISO with two different tools, which
means that each tools might write things a bit differently. However, the
files IN the ISO filesystem should keep the same Checksum, you can
verify it by booting a ubuntu LiveCD and choosing "Check CD from defect"
option. If it reports that the CD is defective, there is a problem.
Otherwise the results you get are expected.
