Today I updated to 4:4.2.2-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 from backports, and I can still reprduce the bug for both umbrello and kompare. Hellos. It would be very nice if you could test if this issue is also valid with MetaCity (i.e. GNOME's default window manager). Compiz has caused similar issues in the past and that this bug affects that many applications, but not all, seems rather weird from a KDELibs point of view. I have the same problem. 1360x768 here, so it's not the size that matters... I got the same problem yesterday with umbrello.
