Hello,
I am using ubuntu version 8.04.Sometimes when my ubuntu hangs I remove my
laptop battery to skip.
I think the problem occured so.
synaptic manager shows these errors
E: Type 'm/ubuntu/' is not known on line 50 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
update manager showing following lines
An unresolvable problem occured while initializing the package information.
Please report this bug against the "update manager" and include the following
error message
