Hi Mr Chris, I'am using nvidia-graphics-drivers-96 and the problem is still in my computer so sometimes I return to the first level in visual effects to be able to see the wors and letters in the menu in openoffice.org,thankx for your intrest in my bug I hope oneday it will be fixed in this Ubuntu or in Jaunty.
