having the same problem in 9.04

Ctrl+C doesn't work anymore. Have to use Ctrl+Alt+C instead of.

It worked in 8.10 fine.

I confirm this too.
Ctrl+C doesn't stop the process. I'm using Ctrl+Alt+C instead.
But it worked in previous versions (Intrepid, Gutsy, Feisty).
