[Bug 350839] Re: [Jaunty] urb ... submission failed with bluetooth headset
Can anyone recommend how I can restore my USB/BT keyboard/mouse in order to run updates on Lucid? Is there something I can pass to the kernel on boot when I still have kb control? -- [Jaunty] urb ... submission failed with bluetooth headset https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350839 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 350839] Re: [Jaunty] urb ... submission failed with bluetooth headset
Recently received a similar message after upgrading my 10.04 Beta 1 with some nightly updates. Unfortunately it is my mouse and keyboard that are connected to via Bluetooth and USB which has meant they have been disabled. I have mouse/kb activity until about the time gdm launches at which point they become disabled. Removing the Logitech BT adapter from the USB slot prints this message: btusb_bulk_complete: hci1 urb 88017fa30480 failed to resubmit btusb_bulk_complete: hci1 urb 88017fa3 failed to resubmit btusb_send_frame: hci1 urb 8801813cb780 submission failed Attempts to re-insert do not resolve the error and removal of the adapter adds more messages of a similar type to above. At this time I cannot do anything else in my Lucid 10.04 and have had to file the bug from another platform. -- [Jaunty] urb ... submission failed with bluetooth headset https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350839 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 350839] Re: [Jaunty] urb ... submission failed with bluetooth headset
Hi Ludovico, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid. If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 350839 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream- testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message. [Bug 350839] Re: [Jaunty] urb ... submission failed with bluetooth headset
What kind of Bluetooth headset? I think aplay does not handle conversion as well as mplayer or skype, etc. Perhaps if you tried the workaround suggested by Bluez: ~/.asoundrc pcm.bluetoothraw { type bluetooth device 00:11:22:33:44:55 } pcm.bluetooth { type plug slave { pcm bluetoothraw } } - This might allow aplay to work but might be played much slower than it's suppose to. -- [Jaunty] urb ... submission failed with bluetooth headset https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350839 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
