I started getting this behavior after downloading the latest linux a couple of days ago for an already running ubuntu 10.04 environment. Prior to this I had hibernate and suspend working properly. So, I don't know if I have this bug or just a new regression. In general yes (e.q in my netbook), But it doesn't in my Acer Timeline. I tried hibernation without nvidia driver today. God thing id didn't blocked my wireless again. Bad, it didn't even started X. I have similar problem on similar notebook (Samsung R510 with nvidia 9200GS graphic card. I'm using 64bit version of Ubuntu with nvidia 180.44 drivers. Wireless chipset is atheros ar242x (or ar5007 according to windows) with ath5 drivers I believe. The only difference is that for me it reboots every hibernation i do since Intrepid. Additionally after installing jaunty it somehow turned off my wireless chipset/card and it didn't worked at all before I hibernated and restored Vista (I did it with no reason other than hey! it hibernation, faulty hibernation turned off, working might turn it on ;) ). Haven't tried suspending the system, but in intrepid was almost working except that wireless chipset frezzed (using madifi then). For me it seems like nvidia's driver fault, as I seen some error in console during this hibernation.
