Make sense.  It might be a nice feature to add at a later point, if it
could pull the required packages from the web, like the flashplayer
plugin does.

This has always been the case, the only difference is in 9.04 you now
actually get a useful message about what to do to get rid of the
"javaldx: blah" messages that have always been there. There is not
enough room to put the full JRE and all the java libraries that OOo
needs and has never been on the cd in the past.
