[Bug 356504] Re: easystroke crashed with SIGSEGV in __kernel_vsyscall()
I spoke too soon. Easystroke is working now. But it just crashed. I suspect the crash is a feature of natty and not easystroke, as practically all the apps that has anything to do with the indicator or systray has crashed at least once ... or ten times. Also, now wicd refuses to connect to the internet. Using secondary netbook to file this. grrr. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/356504 Title: easystroke crashed with SIGSEGV in __kernel_vsyscall() -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I also have this problem, but my setup is more like Florian, The Compiler #6.
Re: [Bug 356504] Re: easystroke crashed with SIGSEGV in __kernel_vsyscall()
At the very least, I'd need a stack trace, but issues like this are hard to debug without a reproducible test case. [Bug 356504] Re: easystroke crashed with SIGSEGV in __kernel_vsyscall()
Thanks for the report. I'm assuming this is a more or less random crash. How often does it happen on your machine? I've seen issues like this before, but I've never quite been able to figure out what's going on. My best theory is that this is caused by the x server generating incorrect sequence number (apparently triggered by XTest calls). I thought I had successfully worked around the problem by removing a call to XTestFakeMotionEvent after every timed out gesture, but this is apparently not the case. -- easystroke crashed with SIGSEGV in __kernel_vsyscall() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/356504 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
