Public bug reported:

I'm not sure but this bug might be a duplicate of #345625.

Here is what is happening:
I make my machine to suspend either by closing the lid or by pressing "Stand
by" key or choosing "Suspend" from "Shut down" menu. It always go to sleep
properly what can be seen by slowly oscillating power diode (this is how my
machine indicates that it's in sleep mode). The problem appears when I want to
resume my machine and it seems to depend on A/C adapter state. When the A/C
adaptor is detached while suspending machine and stays detached till resume,
all resumes I had tried were successful. In case of when the suspension and
resumption occur while A/C adaptor is attached, approximately 4 of 5 resumes
fail. When I suspend my machine with A/C adaptor attached and then try to
resume it with A/C adaptor detached 100% resumes fail. This is also true in
opposite situation when suspension is done with A/C detached and resumption
with A/C attached. When resume fails I don't see flashing caps-lock or similar.
Keyboard, touch-pad are not responding and the screen stays black (back-light
of my screen is turned off, it is like after typing the "xset dpms force off"
command). I think that HDD is turned off because I can't hear noise of its head
falling after hard reset like it can be heard when I do hard reset from
normally working system. Resumption after hibernation works well on my system
in any circumstances. In previous version of Ubuntu - Intrepid - I did not make
any tests but majority of resumes were successful (I think 1 of 10 resumes
failed).

ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from
resuming properly.
