In Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, sun-java6-jre is still at version 1.6.0_07-b06. Sun has already released version 1.6.0_13, which contains several critical security bug fixes. First the JRE, then the plugin. Works fine in Hardy. Sun's binary is generic, so isn't it possible to have a DEB package for all Ubuntu versions? At least for the most recent ones... I work as a Java developer, so I also need an update on the JDK.
